For clay sand static pressure line casting, bentonite bonded clay sand is prepared automatically. The molding machine applies uniform static pressure to compact the sand to get high-density, consistent moulds. Sand cores are placed to form complex inner cavities and oil passages. Molten grey iron or ductile iron is poured into the mould. After cooling and solidification, castings are shaken out, cleaned, fettled and inspected.
